Where to have a drink in the Medina

Many of my customers ask me where to have a drink (with alcool) in a nice place without going to the new city. So I will try to give you a short list of my favorite places near the Riad El Youssoufi.

Le Salama :

Le Salama, located near the main square (Jaama El Fna) you can have a drink on their nice roof top, they serve alcool and cocktails and there is happy hours between 18:00 and 20:00, I hightly recomand having a drink there if you are around.

Le Café Arabe :

​Le Café Arabe is located in the souks, in the district of Dar El Bacha, at 5mins walking distance of the Riad El Youssoufi, you will be able to enjoy a nice rooftop with a surounding view on the medina, they also serve affordable Italian & morrocan food.

La Mamounia :

Recently ranked 1st hotel in the world, La Mamounia is part of the history of Marrakech, really stunning decoration by Jacques Garcia where you will enjoy a drink in the cosy sofa..

Riad Lotus Privilège Patio :

Riad Lotus Privilège is not only a smart restaurant, you also can go for a drink in their amazing Art Deco Patio.

Le Fafa's Bar :

Le Fafa's Bar is part of the Palais Soleiman restaurant an exeptionnal19th century palace with an amazing athmosphere.

La Maison Arabe Piano Bar :

​La Maison Arabe piano bar is without any doubt one of my favorite bar in Marrakech, I really love the colonial atmosphere of this place, jazz music, piano player with probably the best cocktails in town is what you will find in this amazing setting. I aslo hightly recommand eating around the pool (make sure to book a table if you want to have the best view).
